Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AI Assessment(“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and our talent-assessment platform (the “Service”). It covers both the recruiters and administrators who use the Service and the candidates who complete assessments through it.
Information we collect
- Account & contact data: name, work email, company, and details you submit through forms such as our demo request.
- Candidate assessment data: responses candidates submit — multiple-choice answers, written text, voice recordings, and video responses — along with generated scores, rubric feedback, and time-on-task.
- Usage & device data: log data, IP address, browser type, and interactions with the Service, used to operate and secure it.
How we use information
- To provide the Service: generate assessments, deliver them, grade responses, and produce reports.
- To communicate with you about demos, support, and service updates.
- To secure, monitor, debug, and improve the Service.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Roles & legal basis
For candidate assessment data, the hiring organization using the Service is the data controller and AI Assessment acts as a processor on their behalf. We process personal data under legal bases including performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating the Service, and consent where required.
Sharing & sub-processors
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service (for example, cloud hosting and AI processing providers) under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations, and where required by law. A current list of sub-processors is available on request.
Retention
We retain personal and candidate data for as long as needed to provide the Service and as directed by the controlling organization, then delete or anonymize it in line with our retention schedule and applicable law.
Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and other safeguards described on our Security page. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your rights
Depending on your location (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object or withdraw consent. Candidates should direct such requests to the hiring organization that invited them; we will assist that organization as their processor.
International transfers
Where data is transferred across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
